Scheduling
Once an interview date is confirmed:
- [ ] Update the tracking sheet on Food Distro Google Drive
- [ ] Send out (1) an email with the Zoom link, make sure this is Food Distro Zoom, and (2) the consent form via DocuSign (see templates and DocuSign tutorial in Email Templates & Consent Form).
- [ ] Create a Google Calendar invite with Food Distro Gmail account.
- [ ] Save the signed consent form to their user folder on Google Drive
- [ ] Send a reminder email 24 hours before the interview date Email Templates & Consent Form
- [ ] Practice speaking the script out loud a couple times before conducting an interview.
Conducting interviews
- [ ] The facilitator logs into Zoom.us using Food Distro Gmail account (sign in with Google option). You must log into Zoom Food Distro in order to conduct the interview.
- [ ] All interviews must have 2 people present: one researcher to conduct the interview, one researcher to take notes.
- Take notes during the interview, it does not have to be verbatim but the main points raised by the interviewee.
- If you happen to be the only interviewer, focus on the interview instead of taking detailed notes. Take notes on what you remember immediately after.
