The Product Overview

We are building the 3rd MVP (MVP3) for the startup Science to People. MVP3 is a desktop platform (currently called VeriSci) and browser extension (currently unofficially called Content Companion) that hopes to make accurate, evidence-based science accessible to all. This AI-powered product will serve as a go-to place for science communicators to build approachable, accurate, and engaging content.

The Problem

Health and wellness content creators face challenges in research efficiency, audience trust, engagement, and workflow integration, making it difficult to produce accurate, up-to-date content.

• We need to make trustworthy AKA peer-reviewed health sources easily accessible. Creators spend significant time researching, verifying sources, and fact-checking, with skepticism around AI-generated accuracy.
• We need to present detailed analysis of complex concepts in easily digestible terminology. Not only is the internet filled with non-fact-based content, but even if creators are referencing trusted sources, complex concepts can be misunderstood due to inaccessible terminology and still lead to misinformation and bias.
• Creators typically feel AI-generated content is generic and misaligned with their personal style.
• Research, writing, and publishing workflows are fragmented, requiring Creators to switch between multiple tools to verify content and create it.
