If we want to use UserBit to help analyze interview findings, here are the steps I think we could take:
- Prep for analysis by inputting interview questions
- Input interviewees into UserBit
- Tag users with user segments that help categorize users by their main characteristics (could be demographic, employment status, etc.)
- Location
- Gender
- Profession
- Age range
- Employment status
- Record and transcript interviews using Vowel.
- Input transcripts into UserBit
- Tag interview responses
- Analyze data using UserBit’s charts tool
Pros:
- We can use UserBit’s charts tool to analyze data quickly, without affinity mapping.
- We can use the charts generated from UserBit to back up our insights.
Cons:
- Affinity mapping is a great tool to visually analyze data, so I’m not sure we should take it out completely… Maybe we could do both: affinity mapping and tagging interviews in UserBit?
