Sprint 2
Secondary research - a case study of what’s existing so far - articles, journal articles, blog posts from NGOs
—> From sec. research + assumption mapping, create research plan and user interview questions.
Current Roadmap (as of Oct. 27) - agreed on between UXR leads!
Sprint 2 / Week 3 | Sprint 2 / Week 4 | Sprint 3 | Sprint 4 |

- Potential users of this project: individuals and organizations want to set up a system to redistribute food/ community of food redistribution. - This is a pivot from Phase 1, where the personas were individual food givers and takers. |
How Rachel and Nguyet understand the end goal - a SaaS product for people or organizations who want to start a food redistribution system
Research activities:
Define the research goals, user criteria.
Share the research plan with the whole team.
Start recruitment look into Evan’s contacts and on LinkedIn of who we can interview (might be next week)
Get a high-level recap of Research, Design, Strategy competitor research findings to help us distill key users.
As noted by Rachel, if we can identify one main target user for our first MVP by end of Sprint 2 or early Sprint 3, I think it's a great place to help you draft the product brief.
Looking ahead to next week, we may already need to reach out to Evan’s contacts to recruit users for interviews.
| - Continue recruitment efforts
Refining research plan, research questions. Tentatively, the method would be a 30-45 min user interview, but this method can change if we decide another method is better. **It’s more important that we agree on the research goal and research questions, then the method will reveal itself.
-** Prepare for Demo #2
Ultimately, in these last two sprints, UXR wants to provide personas, and mapping delivrables to help the next phase know who our users are (either customer journey mapping, or empathy mapping). | Finalize UXR deliverables
Write Handoff for the next phase |

- SWOT analysis of US food banks to discover major problems they're facing, how they're helping reduce the food waste problems, what's working, not working. — |
Why food bank? Because it’s one of the areas that we identified with Product and Design to focus on (more about our decision-making here with the Sprint 1 liaison meeting notes).
End of week 3: synthesize and group the findings of the analysis.

| - Use the key takeaways from this SWOT activity, our assumption mapping from Sprint 1 + Design and Strategy competitive analysis to develop research goals about what specifically we want to learn from users/people who work in food redistribution sectors.
Develop research goals with this interview plan, and research questions. Tentatively, the method would be a 30-45 min user interview, but this method can change if we decide another method is better. Logistics: recruit users through Evan's contacts and LinkedIn to understand what's working and not working re: food redistribution
Review and assist Strategy with the Product brief as needed. | In Sprint 3, we'll conduct the interviews and distill the findings.
