Functionality perspective
- Evaluators are randomly provided by the system
- Selection is happening behind the scenes
- The profile needs to be filled out by the evaluator,
- ** producers are provided with evaluators** (this happens behind the scenes)
- No sharing of evaluator profile or ability to ‘favorite’
- No ratings or reviews being public -
- ** No individual profile for each evaluator —>
- Producers are provided with groups of evaluators; maybe they’ll be provided with addresses for shipment purposes and email
- Every evaluator’s feedback will be provided in one pdf to the producer from Ruminate, not from each individual evaluator
The 3 variables in the intake forms:
- sector evaluator works in (distributor, retail, food service, etc.)
- Region of the country (northeast, southwest, etc.)
- availability
Dev team
- Maybe not in the scope of 8 weeks to have an algorithm that matches everyone, there may need to be some intervention from the Ruminate team
- I will meet with the Design team next week (TBD)
Number of evaluators/producers
- 30 evaluators currently
- I don’t have projections for the future; it depends on the product and “how far we get with these 8 weeks”
- For spring purposes to test prototype: (TBD) ~10 producers, ~100 evaluators from social media
Should evaluators have a way to communicate with producers they are paired with? → no;
- In the intake form, evaluators are asked (yes/no) if they would like the producer to contact them outside of the system/Ruminate. Producers will only be provided with email
Ruminate’s Goal/Objective
- Needs an automation system for matching with less human intervention especially as the program grows
Example of matching process → 300 evaluators
