Client Demo, MVPs, Prototyping, Research, Usability Testing
In Sprint 6 looks like they did a Client Demo, then proceeded with going over MVPs. Had lo-fi prototypes go through usability testing with 6 people, then with observations that allowed for iterations. Looks like that they had a very clear usability testing, a long read for some. The testings also asked in depth questions relating to the screens and its contents, however not for everyone just some. They also had recordings for this, which is great.
What went down:
Started off with Nikki talking about her story of a student which led to possibility of mentors and helping students find jobs
User Flows/MVPs brought up emphasis on collaboration
Sketches/ Prototypes were ran over with Nikki
Nikki asked about monitoring esp with comments (suggested reminders on how to act, be respectful, etc)
Onboarding for users can set intentions so suggesting having a positive reminder in the beginning
Wondering if the bigger picture could be education
talked about comparisons to peloton base on their positivity of the website
potentially finding investors later on
MVP Scope
Prototyping
Low fidelity Usability Testing (base on the file in Sprint 6)
When creating the lo-fi’s they ran into problems of users asking why would they want to join a session, first starters didn’t even know what it was for. Also didn’t understand on how hashtags impacted post.
Had 6 users testing for the lo-fi’s.
Made iterations towards MVPS like profile page, messaging feature, and a discover page
Tackle alot of their problems within the mid-fi’s screens:
-user profile = interactions and exploration
-private shadowing = fear/build self confidence posting
-discover page = help mindless scrolling
-in touch with mentor = send private work users/mentors ; create a 1:1 session as well
