ACTION ITEMS:

We will not be building a separate intermediary site. Instead, Design and Content will provide deliverables to update existing placeholder site in conjunction with members of the Lalich team.

Date of Delivery= 3-4 weeks (before end of Phase 1)

  1. High priority deliverables for Design (Design will align with Raanan’s developer in Slack to identify any further specifics)
    1. Logo
    2. Branding components
      1. color palette
      2. fonts
  2. High priority deliverables for Content: TBD (Content team will align with Tammie regarding Content needs/adjustments for updating the existing placeholder page)

Clarification questions in order to be able to construct a roadmap for preliminary site, specifically:

  1. Re: "lightly fleshed out main page with some light functionalities..", what is the critical functionality you need above and beyond the functionality of the current placeholder page?
    1. are there current pieces of the existing site that we could capitalize on (e.g., donation page)?
    2. what are must haves?
    3. what are nice to haves?
    4. Morgan shared the TF website and that seemed appealing, what specific features of the TF site that meets your current needs?
    5. what would success look like for this site?
  2. What is the timing for delivery? Does this need to align with the timing of the proposed fundraiser?
  3. Clarification questions about security- i.e. what security measures need to be in place for the preliminary product and its features in order to be able to offer the level of protection that the Lalich Center and its users need?

Acknowledgement here that there may need to be compromises in terms of implementation and timeline. Specifically:

  1. It may not be possible to build out this preliminary site on the same platform as the later iteration (ie prelim site would need to be no code, which may not offer all of the functionality and security desired from the later site).
    1. are you ok with understanding that this prelim site may not be built on the same platform as the final site?
  2. Depending on what these 'light functionalities' are, for the prelim site there might need to be a choice between:
    1. A feature with common-but-suboptimal security, or
    2. Delaying said feature until we can deliver a design (in Phase 2) with the level of security that they need.
  3. Depending on the desired functionality for this preliminary site, this may impact the roadmap for Design and Content re: building the fully functional site during this phase of the Project.
    1. are you ok that we may need to use existing templates to accomplish this preliminary site rather than a custom design as intended for the more built out site
    2. are you ok with the understanding that devoting resources to building the preliminary site may build additional time into the timeline for the fully functional site?
    3. as there is no development team for this phase of the project, we can only work within the skill set and capacity of the teams that are already engaged on the project. As such there may be limitations on what we can deliver re: the prelim site
