- What we did
- Pain points
- Research recruitment
- Finding users with relevant experience
- People not replying to emails either from our personal accounts or from the Tech Fleet accountPeople scheduling sessions and then not showing up
- Cross-team communication
- Team leadership at the start
- Research not being used/consulted
- No clear idea of where to put recordings/documents until the Coda was setup
- Things getting personal when they didn’t need to be
- What worked
- Having a strong team leader
- Weekly Team Goals doc
- Good team member sync and collaboration
- Having regular team meetings
- Clearly defined personal responsibilities
- Taking matters into our own hands when necessary
- Speaking up when necessary
- Advocating for ourselves and our team
- Having a space to privately talk about problems with team mates
- Supporting all the teams; we’re all working toward the same goal
- What didn’t work
- Sending recordings to Morgan for Dropbox
- Ice breakers at the beginning were just box checkers
- Standup not working as individuals; would be better if presented as a team
- Sprint planning happening on Thursday
- Monday might be better since we’re already having team lead meetings then anyway
- Jitsi in general
- Maybe try https://www.gather.town/ either for ice breakers or bigger meetings
- What’s next
- Are we really targeting new users?
- Who is actually going to use the product/who are our target users?
- Stakeholder Meeting 2 - has the goal post changed?
- How is Morgan feeling about the project and its direction after phase 1?
- Look at other products within crypto with a steep learning curve (X-Wallet, for instance) to see how they balance the needs of experienced and new users
- Stocks/investments, etc
