What This Interview is About

Hello! This interview is part of a series of interviews being conducted by the Research Team on the Lalich Center TechFleet Project, and we need your help to design the new Lalich Center website. We’re going to conduct a 40 minute interview with you and others over Zoom to inform our design decisions. We’re not going to use your words directly or quote you on the website, but we are going to use what you tell us to make decisions about what is important to include on the site. One interviewer and one notetaker from the research team will be present in the interview. The project will finish on May 26th, 2023.

Your Involvement in the Interview

In a 40-minute interview, we’ll ask you questions about your experience as a survivor of a cultic or coercive relationship and your experiences of using the Lalich Center services. With your permission, we’ll record audio and video of the interview through Zoom. We’ll immediately delete the video, keep the audio (until the end of the project on May 26th 2023), and we’ll take notes to document your responses.

Your Participation is Voluntary

You can withdraw from the interview at any point and ask that your information is deleted. During the interview, you can pause or leave at any time without providing a reason.

Your Participation is Confidential

When scheduling the interviews, you were asked to provide your name and contact information on a Contact-Intake Form. If you want to, you can provide a pseudonym, and we’ll replace your personal information. This form will only be available to the Research Team.

Throughout the study, we’ll use a participant code when analyzing and reporting on our research. All potentially identifiable information will be removed from the interview transcript and excluded from any research reports or deliverables.
