Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Oh, all right, then. Okay. So we'll start off with some screener questions. To base the rest of this interview on. So, first of all, on a scale of zero to five, zero being low experience and five being high experience. How would you evaluate your experience level regarding trading tokens on the container blockchain? Josh Haeffner: So on Kadena, I'd say zero specifically, but I definitely have trading experience in general when it comes to NFTs, I've had used Solana and. And Ethereum and very little polygon, but not Kadana. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay then. So, secondly, on a scale of zero to five, how would you rate your experience with crypto? And NFTs on other blockchains. Josh Haeffner: I'd say depending, I'd say two to three. Primarily Ethereum. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay then. So now we're just gonna go over some quick demographic questions. So. First of all, what gender do you identify with? Okay. What is your age? Josh Haeffner: 28. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. What is your occupation? Josh Haeffner: Customer success. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. What is your marital status? Josh Haeffner: Single Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. What is your nationality? Josh Haeffner: American California. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: And where are you currently living? All right. So now these questions are more about your opinion. And behavior, what are some recent. Activities that you have done involving cryptocurrency trading. Josh Haeffner: As far as very recently, I've just been buying Bitcoin, just. Because of the whole nature of. Potentially world war II, the currencies are getting. Shifted around the world with Russia and China and India and Brazil cooperating. In America's dollar kind of going down the tubes a little bit. So I've been buying some Bitcoin, not too much trading lately. But if you're talking about, let's say the past six months or past year, I've primarily really only played with. Bitcoin polygon, Solana, Ethereum. And then I also, because of, I don't remember what the, the new law is or whatever it's gonna be, but related to like fed now and. Upgrading the swift platform. I bought stellar lumens in aand because those are. Certified or approved to, Josh Haeffner: I don't remember the exact phrasing, but to be able to. Be used to support. Global transactions in some form. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay then. What motivated you to do those activities? Josh Haeffner: I'd say I really gotten a crypto because of. Just reading about it in general, but more from the NFT social side of how it can be. Used in everyday life. And then of course the more I explored and the more I looked into it, it's like, of course I want a financial turn at the end of the day. So it's not only the social implication of. Everyday transactions and how now it can be logged, but then of course, if I can get a financial turn out of it, that'd be really great. So. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Cool. Cool. Similar question, but what are your, some recent activities that you've had in N F T trading? Josh Haeffner: NFTs I've been holding. So I haven't done a lot of NFT tradings lately because when the market was at its. Really going crazy. September, 2021. October, 2021 in August. And. On open sea. Like I, my first NFTs purchase on August 1st, 2021. For the purposes though, of being I'm gonna buy and hold and think, okay, what is what's gonna, what a, what do I think will most likely last long term that I can afford? Because I recognize that. Most of these are going to go down the tubes. And as we have seen, most of 'em have gone down the tubes. And so I, I, so lately it's just observing and watching, so I'm making sure, okay. The projects I do have, or the projects I would like to have. How are they progressing? Josh Haeffner: What are they working on as we're now in crypto winter? And so I'm watching and observing and watching the prices fall down the floor prices drop because if they're still working and they're being, and they're putting in the work and the price gets really, really cheap. My goal then is to buy more. As I continue to watch how they progress over this one winter. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Very interesting. Believe you answered this question already, but if you can. Elaborate on it a little further. What motivated you to do those activities? Josh Haeffner: Yeah, it goes back to that answer of like, there's a course, the financial piece, but there's also the learning piece. So like, at first, it was like, they said art, right. Was the, is like in a way, the first use case. But at the end of the day, all these crypt, all these, excuse me. N F T. Projects to get started were just a giant. Brand campaign. There's nothing more. And then of course, as they got funded by people purchasing, they then are developing, but at the end of the day, developing different things to enhance their brand and engagement with their community. So. So it went from like the learning and, and observing to then. Okay. But now. What are the real world world implications like sports tickets will probably be NFTs at some point plane tickets like. Textbooks, Josh Haeffner: you can probably use as NFTs and. Even just general receipts can be an NFT. So like how can this translate to everyday transactions or okay. Can your license or passport be an N F T. And so watching how that's gonna play out separate from the primary use case of. The original use case of like trading because of these brand campaigns and hoping people get great return. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. When it comes to tokens, how do you choose which token to buy? Josh Haeffner: That's a good question. Realistically, at the end of the day, it's all gambling so, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right. Josh Haeffner: so it's like, I can, I can give you any answer. I want gut slash for example, my first N F T purchase was a world of women. That was a one on August 1st, 2021. And that one on that day was, I was just like, okay. I can afford it. And. This. And especially at that time, like me too movement was still going very heavy. And so it was like, okay, like long-term. There's going to be traction, especially their goal was to onboard women into web three. So I'm like, this makes sense to me. Long-term and of course, as they got. More and more popular. It's just like, okay. And so it's shifts from like, do I like the idea. And, and then if it gains traction, do do I appreciate the work that they're doing or believing that the work that they're continuing to do. Josh Haeffner: And then if so, okay, this is why I would make a purchase if it's a future for purchase, but the original purchase the end of the day, it's like, did I think they idea was good? Great. Let me put some low risk money in there. It is like, I think it was at the time, $250. So I was like, I can afford $250 and if I lose it cool. So it was a gamble at the end of the day, but I thought the idea was good. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. So for the trading that you're involved with, what kind of analytics tools do you use and why? Josh Haeffner: I don't. I think the analytics for, for token, specifically, they're a waste. The analytics tools are a waste of time. It's like, for example, and I'm not a trader, like it's the same thing with stocks. Like people use. The variable beta to determine the riskiness of a stock. It's irrelevant. It, it literally doesn't mean anything about the business. It means nothing about the work that they're doing. It that's strictly for trading to make a short-term profit based on the movement of a stock, not the business. So. Similar with NFTs. I'm going what's the long-term. Implication. I think really, if I were to say, actually I would narrow it down to market cap only because. That's the level of, okay. If you're valuing this N F T project at $5 billion. What is the, how long would it take? For them to make money. Josh Haeffner: Remotely close to 5 billion. Dollars Muslim's gonna be not gonna happen. Right? So like, that's, that's a very important piece, cuz people are saying I value this or we as a market value X project as. X million X, billion, whatever it may be. Okay. Well, like what am I paying for? And so I do it just like strictly, like, does this make fiscal sense to put in. Real dollars. That or risk real dollars. Like I would say more than a thousand dollars. To then determine, is it based on X valuation or the market cap? So Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I see can you describe a time when you were frustrated by a blockchain Explorer? That you used. Josh Haeffner: yeah, like Ethereum and polygon are kind of funny. So like I have polygon sitting in a Coinbase wallet right now. And, but it's the polygon sitting on the Ethereum blockchain and not the polygon blockchain. So I have to purchase Ethereum to then. Move that the polygon into either a polygon wallet or back to my regular Coinbase wallet, if I wanna cash out or whatever it may be, or, or, or. Convert it to let's say U S D C or Bitcoin, whatever wanna do I have to bio Ethereum. And I think that's a stupid thing to do. Like, and it wasn't clear. That it was gonna be on the Ethereum blockchain, at least at the time, like now I'm like, oh yeah, I should have known that. But. It's all because the texts young and new and, and the most user friendly, I just think there's gonna be some form of frustration with all of it or. Josh Haeffner: I've been trying I've I would purchase NFTs and on the Ethereum blockchain and. Either your transaction didn't go through because people clogged the network with their gas fees in a bought, and then gas of course, gas fees in general are just the most frustrating thing in the world. And so, and then the transaction time can take a long time and you don't actually know if it went through. And that was more like at the beginning. And it's gotten better, but especially courses volume has dropped it's it's course it gets easier, but. So to UN and then if something doesn't show up in your wallet, like, what do you do? And and all this stuff. So. So that, I think that was the, the, just those, the learning curve in general is like the most frustrating part, but it's also, even when you know it, you have to be extra careful to not screw yourself. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. So based on that experience, how would you want it to be improved? Josh Haeffner: I think everything needs to be user friendly. And so first off is there, if there's a way to get rid of gas fees or. I mean, for example, like if you go to a restaurant and you pay a credit card, in some form, the price of your meal is built. It includes, let's say the transaction fee. And so I don't think the consumer similar to how, like it went from like, okay, you're gonna pay $10 for shipping. Now. CU customer or businesses realized, okay, let's. Just add the shipping charge into the total cost. And now shipping is quote unquote free. Like if there's a way to get rid of that. So then transactions just become seamless. I think that'd be easier and we also need to put it in a language that's good. That is useful for. Josh Haeffner: An average consumer, not like you shouldn't have to be a professional. Or, or a educated in crypto. To be able to use crypto down the line, just like I don't need to be this expert on what a credit card usage to swipe my credit card. And now I'm gonna get my purchase and call it a day. Like I should know the basics, but I don't need to know the advanced anything where crypto, you have to like, actually really pay attention at the moment. But it's also the nature cuz the tech is so young at the end of the day. So anything to make it user-friendly in particular. For the average consumer will make lives a lot, lot easier. At the same time. Upgrading the network appropriately to handle high volume transactions, if that's even possible. I don't think anyone's really. Polygon advertises it, Josh Haeffner: but like their network gets clogged all the time. Anyway. So, so does Solana it's like shut down like 5, 6, 7 times. So. You need to show me that you can continue to improve and you have to do it quickly. And make it friendly, user friendly. So. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Very, very good points. So these next few questions are actually. About NFT analytics tools, but you have said that you don't use NFT analytics tools, correct? Josh Haeffner: Correct? Correct. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I see so well, this is, we are trying to test. A NFT analytics tool. So. If you don't mind, I'm gonna ask you to use a prototype that we made with some specific. Tasks and questions to emulate how someone would use it in the real world. So there are no right or wrong answers. And the way to get your destination. And if you could please think out loud, we really appreciate it. Know that, because this is a prototype and not an actual app. Not everything's gonna be functional. You might ask me questions that I may not be able to answer because of the nature of the test. All right. So my team member Mina is going to send you a link in the chat and then. After you confirm that you can open it, 🖐Raised Hand Josh Haeffner: Is that the Figma link? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: please share your screen. Yeah. So first off there's bef I already shared the link. You can see the shared note. Can you see the shared notes? If you don't see it, lower side of your monitor. There is a like lock. Sign and there's a wifi sign and there's a blue circle with yeah. Josh Haeffner: Yeah. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Click on that. So you will. Open the notes up, Laura. And there's. Josh Haeffner: So, no, I have the notes up. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yes. Josh Haeffner: I found the link. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: I, but I, I can't share my screen. It says I don't have access to sharing. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay then. Oh, Josh Haeffner: So that lock, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: you can't. Josh Haeffner: no, the lock is locked. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, hold on just a second. Josh Haeffner: Guests do not have access to sharing in privacy is what it says. When I hover my mouse over it. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, let me see. Are you using companies computer? Josh Haeffner: I am using a company computer, but like there's nothing. On it, like it's like brand, like I set it up for example, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Josh Haeffner: cuz we're a young company. So like I know it's not. Like slash it. Didn't ask for like, when I signed into this, it didn't say like, Hey, like, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: It's not POS. Josh Haeffner: go to settings or anything. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So when you sh click on share screen. It says it's not possible. Josh Haeffner: I don't have the, oh, excuse me. I'm just being dumb ____, actually. My bad. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Is it like, yeah. Oval after the phone. Josh Haeffner: Yeah, no, I'm just like, I saw the lock and it said you can't share. And actually I'm just my bad. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: No, no, no. It's okay. Josh Haeffner: All right, which 1:00 AM I going into? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: Section one. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: No, you're, there's a play button on the top, right of the screen. You can click on that, please. Okay then. So Would you maximize your window, please? And close that shared note part. So you will have everything like. Josh Haeffner: I'm in full screen. For my window at the Mo oh no, here we go. This is what you're saying. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Yeah. Josh Haeffner: There we go. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Thank you. Josh Haeffner: Thank you. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Mm-hmm you're welcome. Will all right. it's all good. It's all good. Yeah. All right. So now that you see it, what do you think about the page in general? Josh Haeffner: Clean simple. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay then. Josh Haeffner: Okay. I know how many collections I like, I'm getting a lot of like, data very quickly about the marketplace itself. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. So now we're gonna run through a couple of simple. Tests and again, no right or wrong answers. And please speak out loud, think out loud so that we can get a better idea of what to improve on. So, what we need to need to you to do at first is to find the trust score of the send she and Ft collection.
Josh Haeffner: The trust score of the SEHI. Well, how do you spell SEHI? Cause I just searched for it. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: S E N C H I Josh Haeffner: All right. I don't know if search works. Or I can go down here. Okay. S E that doesn't work either. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: and C H I. Josh Haeffner: Okay. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I mean S H I, my, excuse me. Josh Haeffner: Does a search feature work? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: The again, this is a prototype, so not everything is going to work. Josh Haeffner: Yeah, no. Exactly. So Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So. Please excuse Devin. Josh Haeffner: all right. No. All good. All right. I gotta find it then. Oh, there's no other page. Okay. No, it does work. Okay. Does it? No. No, that doesn't work either. Oh, here we go. Sanchi. Okay. 25.
Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Great. Great, great. Now which collection has an average price of 15. Point eight 5, 8, 5 KDA a. Josh Haeffner: Which one has an average price. You said 8.5. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: 15.85. Josh Haeffner: Geez. Thank you. not that one. EBIT S Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, good. Good. Which collection has 7,000. 208 in sales. Josh Haeffner: circle circle scape. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, good. And the last one for the table is for the last hour. How many N F T collections have a zero. Percent change in sales volume. Josh Haeffner: <silence> how many Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. How many collections have a 0% change in sales. Volume. Josh Haeffner: that's interesting because I wouldn't know it. Unless I go to top looks like at least based on in oh, sales volume. But cuz I can only go through discover. Top and trending. So I wouldn't be able to tell you all of them anyway, discover doesn't have. Sales volume anyway. And so none of 'em have zero. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I see Josh Haeffner: Based on this. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: all right. So this is it for the analytics table. So if you don't mind, could you please tell us a little more about how you're interacting with the page or. Any concerns or something that you're finding. Josh Haeffner: I mean, it's, it's tough because like in, I would at least. So first based on the question, each question first, I like when you asked about specific projects, I would just search for the project. Where I'm, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Hi, Steve. Josh Haeffner: I was limited to training, discover and top, and, and I can't, if they weren't in the top 10 and either one of them, I wouldn't have been able to find it, but it's prototype. So like, and then. If you're asking questions about, okay. Sales volume, is there a way to filter by that? Based on the question that's being asked. And then I would also, I would also like assume, like, let's say sales volume. If you want zero, I would try to organize it usually like you can double click and. It'll either do from, from ascending to descend or yeah, from ascending or descending. And then I would just do descending and find the zeros at the top. And just, and then it'll filter for me without actually having to formally go. Let's just filter by sales volume. I can just double click. Which I'm unable to do here. So. Josh Haeffner: It would be like, it's easy to add the different tools to this it's just because prototyping just haven't. But. Yeah, so overall, it'd be easy to navigate. I just, it's just the features aren't there yet. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right, right. So on a scale from one to seven, with one being really hard and seven being really easy, how would you rate performing this task on the app? Josh Haeffner: Well, I mean, it was easy. So six just because the only reason it was not a seven is just cuz the features weren't there. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. Totally understandable. All right. So now we're gonna move on to the N F T calendar page. So would you mind navigating in the sidebar to the page labeled NFT calendar version one? Josh Haeffner: We are there. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Oh, okay. Let's see. So now just have two tasks. First being discovered the following information about the boxing Badger collection. What is the date? You can mint an entity in this collection. Josh Haeffner: Boxing Badger. Well, I don't necessarily, or I can click explore more. There you go. Boxing badge, or what day? May 14th at 9:00 PM. UTC. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, can you tell me the price of an N F T in this collection? Josh Haeffner: 17.5 K D a. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, thank you. Can you tell me the total number? Of NFTs in this collection. Josh Haeffner: 2,600. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, can you provide a short description to learn about this collection? Josh Haeffner: Play to earned game that is being built on Kade. Features fast-paced action practice gameplay that will keep players on the edge of their seats. Compete against players from around the world, earn rewards and climb the stop of leaderboards. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. So the last task in this section is to at the Kaena Wolfe's collection to your watch list. And check to make sure that it was added to your watch list. Josh Haeffner: W you said Kadena, Wolfe's added to my watch list. Okay. And then I have to confirm it's on my watch list. So. Watch list can confirm it's on watch list. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Great. While you were doing this task. Could you tell me a little about how you're interacting with the page or. Concerns or something else that's going on entirely. Josh Haeffner: Well, once you got to, once I could find. Like the calendar, like, or, or what was coming up, which isn't much of a calendar, but once you could find it like is easy, but my issue, I need to go back to. I dunno if it's Explorer, I'm just trying to get back. There we go. Homepage. So when I'm on this homepage and I'm looking for the calendar, I'm like I'm in, I was expecting either to have something obvious up here, which is me, assuming just that would there be a different view, but then. When I would get here. NFT calendar. I'm like okay. Like instinctually. I was like, so where's the calendar. Of course I. It has explored more, but I don't. I don't view or per ever, I don't think to. Go to a calendar to explore a calendar. Josh Haeffner: If that makes sense, I'd be like view the N F T calendar so I can see what's coming up and then it'd have like, well, this is how, like, this is easy to see cuz there's a few projects that show each day I, I assumed or expected. An actual, almost like a here's the month of may. On the 14th, you have boxing, Badger, origin, whatever. However it is also helpful. Maybe like having a. A small calendar to show that. But I do think this is still helpful because I think people. In N F T world, especially are attracted to the visuals of an N F T at the moment. Because it's the primary use case. And so like seeing box, Ooh, I like the look of boxing Badger. What's this? Okay. Let me check it out. So I think having an actual like calendar look, but still being able to. Josh Haeffner: View. How this has still having this type of view here would be still be helpful, but having the calendar would be nice too. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Austin. Can I ask a question? Oh, please go ahead. So do you think the location of the NFT calendar? Like in Josh Haeffner: So being at the bottom didn't make sense to me. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: jail. Josh Haeffner: So like, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: if I'm looking for a CA, if the goal is to have a calendar, like even, I think that like having. Like you have minting now. Right? So almost like. If you have, depending on what you want your users to see first. Mint now could be on the left. A small calendar could be on the right, and then you should explore calendar would be up here. And then you have these analytics, which this could be. More horizontal. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right. Josh Haeffner: And under minting now calendar, here's some analytics. Then you have the collection market that you can discover. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm mm-hmm mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: So I would have the calendar more. Up here. Just so you can show, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: right. Josh Haeffner: especially if you want people to, if you're encouraged minting, I, I would assume you'd want the calendar up here rather than. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right. Josh Haeffner: At the bottom. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. What do you think about the details that is provided for each collection? Josh Haeffner: The details provided for each collection. So. I mean I'm biased cuz I I think about open sea. Typ, like, I think they're typically there's more. Information. So it's not just price in a description, but like, okay. Like a. Of course, this is premin, but it would give me like, mint day mint time. Oh, the website to their page. So like the boxing badgers website that they have to get more information, FAQs, more detail on what it's for. I better understanding the project. Is it a verified project? Because that's always been an issue of fraud and just like, if it's not verified, then scammers make their own copy projects. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm right. Josh Haeffner: And so I would expect more here to understand if I'm going to mint. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: More details. Josh Haeffner: I need notes, the real project. I wanna know more about the project. I wanna know what they're aiming for, what are their goals like? Which doesn't all have to be here, but I need a link to at least get to that information too. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Gotcha. Thank you so much. Okay, go ahead, Austin. Sorry. All right. So one last question for this section. Similar to the calendar. On a scale from one to seven. How would you rate performing the task on the app? Josh Haeffner: Overall, the performing task is I'll say another six. It just really came down to recognizing where the calendar was. But once, but everything else is like extremely easy. So I'll say six for this one too, too. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay, thank you. All right. So now we got one last section for you to look at. Would you mind navigating in the sidebar to the page labeled N F T. Collection page. Josh Haeffner: There. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. All right. So your task is in the circle scape collection. Find the floor price of the NFTs with a red background. Josh Haeffner: Floor prices. 20 K D a Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. Filter the NFTs to display ones with green and red backgrounds. All right. Great. One final task, clear out. All the background tray filters to see all NFTs. Okay. Can you tell me a little bit about how you're interacting with this page? Or maybe are there any concerns or something that you're finding. Josh Haeffner: no, that was really straightforward. That that was very normal. Usage start to finish. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. And finally, on a scale of one to seven, how would your rate use or performing the task with this app? Josh Haeffner: Seven. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Great. All right. Now you can stop. You gonna stop sharing your screen. All right. Well, thank you very, very much for taking the time out to help us with this project. Do you want to add anything else? 🖐Raised Hand Josh Haeffner: In, in what regard? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Just like your overall impressions of the app. Oh, wait, Mina, do you have a question? Yeah, I'm sorry. Can, can you tell me you were very. Informed like the information that you provided us about NFT in general was very. It was great. So I feel like when. You are well, how do you get those information? If you're not using NFT analytics? In general. Josh Haeffner: Well, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: a lot of the marketplaces develop their own. So it's just. There it's like, I didn't actively search for it, but like, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: they continued based on the users who are heavy traders, they continue to add more and more and more analytics on their own pages, similar to what you guys are kind of trying to do. So. It's just like, you just end up seeing it and by seeing it, you just know what it is slash 'em on Twitter a lot. So like you just kind of hear about it too. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mmm, Twitter and discord too. Josh Haeffner: so. Discords a headache. I stopped using discord discord, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: regardless that I wouldn't really get much of the analytics from anyway. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right. Josh Haeffner: But discord is just like too much. It was just like, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Josh Haeffner: you're getting notified all the time. From the again they're brands. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: So I'm just like the brand's just trying to engage you. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: yeah. Josh Haeffner: I'm like, okay. I don't. And, and if you're involved in all these projects, you just can't keep up and Twitter's just like a generalized. Yeah, you can follow certain projects, but at the same time, people are talking about NFTs in general, which is more helpful than specific projects sometimes, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: or a lot of the time. Yeah, but the analytics, like they, they continue to build it in. And because right now the market is geared toward traders and that's partly why huge reason why the market has also tanked because if you're only trading. They're they're not actually worth anything. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: yeah. Josh Haeffner: so you're, you're, they're only worth it if someone else buys it, but the project itself, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Josh Haeffner: like you have no clue what it's even doing. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Right. Josh Haeffner: So. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So you mentioned open C. How many times have you used that or looked at it? Josh Haeffner: Yeah. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Not like basically using. Like you earned information from it. Anything like that. Josh Haeffner: Lately, just because I've been buying, holding it's winter. I haven't touched it, but my, when I was heavy into this stuff, open sea was pretty, was the only one, the only Ethereum marketplace I was using. Like, I remember. FTX came out and I was like, mm something's off here. I didn't touch it. Cuz FTX advertised. Oh, we do both. Ethereum and Solano NFTs, but like, I was like, okay, I didn't like it. And that means projects had to move and sellers had to move NFTs and put it on that marketplace, which no one was doing. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: And then Coinbase came out with their pro their marketplace. No one used it. So an open sea was just the primary one for Solana. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: It was also if I wasn't using Ethereum. Especially before Solana was being posted on open sea. I was using magic Eden for any Solana NFTs. Which kept improve. It was first, it was digitalized and then magic Eden and digitalized just wasn't innovating quickly enough and magic Eden just took over. But open. Sea's just always been. The go-to and that's Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: can you sh can you share your. Page with us and open, open C. And I just wanna see how you interact with it. If it's possible, it's not, Josh Haeffner: yeah. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I totally understand. Josh Haeffner: I mean, now I can't connect my wallet cuz I'm like I'm on my computer or my, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: No, no, no, no wallet general gen the homepage. Josh Haeffner: my work computer. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Nothing specific. Josh Haeffner: Yeah, let me and I haven't seen this in a while either. So this is gonna be new for me too, cuz I, they just upgraded to. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: It shouldn't be newer than to us. Josh Haeffner: Where am I? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Trust me. Josh Haeffner: Here we go. So this is new. Oh no, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: this isn't. They just moved this a little bit, like minting now, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: but. So like having trending in top, they've had for actually for quite a bit and notable collections and, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: and whatnot. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: mm-hmm. Josh Haeffner: But then. Okay. Like, especially if I wanna look up NFTs, I projects I own. I'm surprised their search is not working. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So you basically prefer search box. Josh Haeffner: Yeah, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Then just, Josh Haeffner: like I'm gonna search for a specific N F T because I've heard about it. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: okay. Mm-hmm mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: Oh, ____. We're now 0.8, six. That's not good. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I'm sorry. Josh Haeffner: I mean, I don't care. I I'm still up. I don't. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: okay. That's great. Josh Haeffner: So I'm happy regardless. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Good to hear. Josh Haeffner: I'm still up. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Cool. Josh Haeffner: But this is at like, I think their highest was like 13, eighth at one point. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: But Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: so Josh Haeffner: yeah. So like, I'd go here and then similar to the, the question you ask. Okay. Like, I know background's not the primary one in this case. I know the rarity I need you outta the way is based on skin tone. So I know that. Okay. What's the RAR skin tone. I know it's night goddess. A's only 85. Okay. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: and you know this because you just know this collection, Josh Haeffner: The floor priced. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: right. Josh Haeffner: Correct. This is the first one I happen to purchase. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Okay. Gotcha. Josh Haeffner: Now now before purchasing an N F T. My before purchasing one of these, for example. That's where it was just, and when open sea was very basic, it was like, here's NFTs trending. And I'm like, okay, let me just look into what's this about. Cause I don't know any better. But, but that was also before I was using Twitter much about it. Like I was just, I just knew about NFTs in general, but not specifics. We're now like, okay. Me bits. If I'm new. Well, it's me bits. Why is this top three? Oh, I can afford this. Cool. All right. What what's this about? Well, I believe in it. I'll purchase it. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: And then after that, it's like, then it's, what am I hearing on Twitter? Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: I see. Josh Haeffner: More so than what's just trending. So Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: What kind of information, like if you go back and just take a look at the table, the NFT table collection. What info like which part is more important to you that it's there and it's user friendly. I know my question is very general. It's just because I don't know much as you know about it. Josh Haeffner: well me. Floor price. Just so can I afford this? Yes or no? Volume doesn't mean anything to me, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: okay. Josh Haeffner: but volume, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: I know traders like volume because that's just something trending. But I don't care about volume because that's just who's buying or how many are buying. But. Floor prices just can I afford it? Has it gone up or down since I've last checked it out? That's why my reaction's like, oh no, my floor price has gone down. I haven't seen it in a while. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: As an example. So, and then, yeah, this was different. They've added, this is all new. They didn't have this scroll like this for a while. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: You think it's good or bad? You're providing more information. Josh Haeffner: I don't care to be honest, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: You don't care. Okay. Josh Haeffner: like I don't, I can't answer. I don't know. I just don't care about this stuff. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: Where, like, I wanna know what I'm invested in, or if I know like lens protocol I'm familiar with, I didn't know they had a project, so, oh, and it's U S D C. That's interesting. But I'm not gonna look into it. Zuki still going strong. So Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So this table is, it looks very simple and very clear and clean to me. They don't like they have just a trending at the top. Right. Josh Haeffner: yep. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: And hourly update. Josh Haeffner: And tops based on. The NNC. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Hourly update. Josh Haeffner: This is geared toward traders. Like if by hours that's that's for traders. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Josh Haeffner: That's for no one else. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Gotcha. The timing you mean in general? Josh Haeffner: Like, so if you're putting hours six hours, 24 hours, that's all, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: short-term even a week in 30 days, that's all short-term analytics. So that's, this is all for traders, but if I'm going all time, okay. Board a yacht club, this is crushing. It long-term. And these three are all under the same. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: okay. Josh Haeffner: Project. This is all board API club right here. These three. But I'm, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Alright. Josh Haeffner: I am bored. Ape piano club. They're all under the same people, but I know that I don't, if you don't know any better, you'd assume this, these two, and maybe this one, you might guess this, but other side you wouldn't know, unless you knew the project. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So your impression about the prototype that we show you. About the colors, the what I, I just, I don't want you to open it back with comparison to open C. What do you think about it? Is it. When you open it and you look at it, do you like it? Or you say, oh, it's. It's it's very disturbing. How, how. What's your first impression. Josh Haeffner: I mean, it was like, I think the first word I said was it was clean. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: And so like at the end of the day, I just like, if it's clean and, and, and easy to use and navigate, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: mm-hmm. Josh Haeffner: and then it's just who you're gearing it to toward, if you're gearing toward traders, that's where like open cease clearly gearing us toward traders, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Mm-hmm Josh Haeffner: cuz like they get. Transaction fees. And so that's where they get the revenue. But. If the goal is to have people. Use the, like the on your site and then just onboard and try to use the marketplace. It's just. It's like, or if you wanna learn about NFTs, it's just, what are you gearing it toward? Like, I didn't get a sense. It was geared toward traders. Per se at least at the top, once you go to table, it's like, yeah, you're getting more analytics to, to turn to show it's more toward traders, but. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: at the beginning at the first glance, it looks like more Infor informative to you. For someone that wants to learn. Josh Haeffner: It has the potential to be, but then when you scroll, you discover, okay. Traders. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Josh Haeffner: So, but we're open seas, like trade. Here you go here's top, do it, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Here trade. Josh Haeffner: buy something. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Yeah. Josh Haeffner: And he was like, Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Okay. Gotcha. Josh Haeffner: Hey, here's my thing now. But Hey, here's a marketplace, like a little bit more subtle. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Gotcha. Josh Haeffner: So Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. Thank you so much. Sorry, ASIN. I jumped in and. Oh, it's fine. It's fine. and I realized I'm off the camera, so, sorry. I didn't want to be me. I just forgot. Josh Haeffner: no problem. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. Thank you. I don't have any question. Thank you for your time. This is gonna really help us. Josh Haeffner: Of course. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: So thanks so much. Yeah. Josh Haeffner: Yeah, no problem. Really appreciate it. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: All right. Have a good day. Josh Haeffner: You too. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Let us know if you have more. Feedback. Thank you. Josh Haeffner: No problem. Block Explorer V2 UXR Kadena: Bye.
