Meetings:
- The UXW team will hold one meeting per week. Additional meetings can be scheduled if necessary for additional support and feedback, with consensus on timing.
- Team members are encouraged to raise their hands before speaking.
- Cameras do not need to be on during meetings, if this is changed there must be consensus from the team.
- Meetings will be recorded for the benefit of asynchronous work.
- Meetings are open to shadowers/observers.
- If a team member is unavailable or running late, they should inform one of the team leads via DM on the Discord or email in a timely manner.
- Team members should watch the recording of the meeting/read the notes to catch up on what they missed.
- Cross-team liaisons going to be on a rotating schedule.
Discord:
- The UX Writer Team Hub on Discord will serve as the main space for all team-related information. A private Discord group chat may be used for non-public discussions.
- Team members should monitor messages on the UXW Team Hub and the channels of the team they liaise with.
- Team members should tag everyone if the issue is related to the whole team.
- Team members may reach out to other teams on their Team Hubs if they need any information related to the UXW team workflow.
Notion:
- Team leads will set up and maintain the team’s workspace on Notion.
- Team apprentices can edit documents and information related to their work.
- All files, links, recordings, notes, etc. should be posted in Notion (in addition to Discord) and updated weekly.
- The Notion page will serve as a resource for both the UXW team and other teams seeking information about UXW work.
