Project Updates:

• Now UXR has secondary research, Strategy can slowly begin to build their PRD & MVP.

  • Utilize user research → prioritize problem statements → user stories → EPICs

  • Use the criteria that Nguyet (UXR Lead) provided and divide into 2 groups to find 10 users total:

    

• UXR is struggling with capacity issues + need extra hands from rest of teams to delegate to prevent time constraints. “How can Strategy best support Research”?

  • Endless research; UXR compiled a list of websites based on initial communication with Evan.

Two approaches in Startups:

Start with an idea that solves a specific problem, keep iterating on your solution, and it may evolve into something completely different (eg. Uber (black cab → civilians driving), Twitch (justinkan.tv individual streaming → streaming platform) or Airbnb (temporary hotel like renting for conventions → commercial renting).

Or start with the high level goal, drill down through different areas where the problem is prevalent until you reach a problem statement that makes sense to target based on the some of the following (and other) metrics:

• Impact for effort spent
• Feasibility
• Expertise/knowledge available to execute
• Profitability (irrelevant for us)
