**Q: We have started recruiting participants for our first round of interviews and were happy to find 20 participants who were interested in talking about the product! Currently, we have the budget to compensate 5 interviewees ($10 each). So we are holding onto the names of the other interested participants. This got us thinking about future recruitment for usability testing, and possibly another round of interviews, which would also require some budget. Each participant would have to be compensated again. And we will likely run into the issue of having to pay for a testing platform. Is it possible to access any more budget? We can come up with some numbers after our interviews are complete this week. We wouldn’t need to access the budget for at least a couple of weeks (I think).
But so far, we are getting some really great feedback from our interviews and will provide updates on that soon. Thank you for offering the budget for compensation.
Note: We’ll pass along the participant emails at the end of this week. We have promised them $10 Visa gift cards within 2 weeks of their interview. So you deadline on sending that to them would be Friday, Dec 15. Thank you!**
