Session Details

• Moderated, remote 45-minute, 1:1 in-depth interviews (IDIs)

Participant criteria:

• Must identify as on LGBTQIA+ spectrum
• Preference for those with previous experiences as a mentee, although not a requirement to participate
• 18+ years old
• Resides within the United States
• N = ~5-6 participants

Research Objective

Assess the usability of Phase 2 iterations to mentee onboarding, profile, dashboard, search and filter.

Research Goals

1. Assess whether users are able to successfully complete account creation, including onboarding, and any pain points.
2. Assess whether users are able to successfully complete their profile and any pain points.
3. Assess whether users are able to successfully find a mentor to work with and any pain points.
4. Assess the impact of copy and word choices on usability, with special attention to areas that may have an emotional impact.
5. Assess the impact of site navigation on usability.
