Exploratory User Interviews

Objective: We want to speak to users who are familiar with Kadena to better understand their thoughts and feelings about Kadena, as well as identify wallet-specific problems within the Kadena ecosystem.

User Interview Introduction:

Welcome to our usability study, and thank you for your time. Welcome to our session, and thank you for your time. Before we start, can you let me know how you’d like to be addressed?

Thanks. My name is [name], and as you probably already know, I’m part of a small team within the Tech Fleet DAO working to develop a crypto wallet browser extension based on the Kadena blockchain.

In today’s session we’re going to be asking you some questions about your thoughts and experiences using wallet extensions, as well as your general experience within the Kadena space. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers; we want your honest feedback.

The entire session should take about 20 minutes. Does that still work for you?

Is it okay with you if I record the session? I won’t share the recording with anyone outside our team.

Exploratory Research Questions

• What are your overall thoughts about the Kadena blockchain?
• What sort of things do you do on Kadena?
• Which Kadena-specific features are most important to you and why?
• What do you think are the biggest strengths and weaknesses of Kadena?
• Do you use a Kadena wallet? If so, which do you use and why?
• If you had the opportunity to improve one thing about that wallet, what would it be?
• Have you ever encountered a problem sending tokens on Kadena? What went wrong, and how did you handle it?
• Very quickly before we end the session, do you have anything else to share about your experiences with Kadena that might be helpful for us?
• Would you be open to participating in further interviews for this project?
