A little bit about Ben and Earth Hero:

• From Chicago 🇺🇸, lead coordinator of EH
• All E.H. team consists in volunteers, there're 50 active people all over the world, in different roles.

<aside> 🌎 The main goal of Earth Hero is to address climate change, it is a tool for those who want to act and make it use for users to get involved in climate action.

</aside>

• Background story: Ben’s significant other wanted to take an action about climate change, went to App Store but there was no app addressing climate change or environment. There was no obvious option for this. Since Ben has some coding skills, she mentioned this lack of options and he got interested in the project, connected with people about the project and volunteers started to help him out. The app has been running for three years so far, with volunteers contributing in different roles.
• Anna, from Tech Fleet, mentioned TF to get Ben involved.
• On E.H. social media and website, there’s a tab called “Community” with a list of “coming soon” features.
• Think about this community feature as if you have family and friends to get together to engage in different actions. Coworkers as well.
• People have asked for a collective challenge (climate communities, religious organizations)
• It’s up to us, as a team, to think about the direction of this feature, think through the details for a MVP.
