A daily standup is a short, time-boxed meeting (typically 15 minutes) where team members align on progress, blockers, and priorities. It fosters transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Format:
- Time & Duration – Held at the same time daily, lasting no more than 15 minutes.
- Participants – A representative of each team.
- Structure – Each team member answers three key questions:
- What did I accomplish yesterday?
- What will I work on today?
- Are there any blockers or challenges?
- Facilitation – Project Management Team
- Follow-ups – Any discussions beyond status updates should happen after the standup with relevant team members.
