I would lean towards chat not being part of the initial Earth Hero version. Great to consider for a future version.
DataCamp - great simple invite example with email and link option. From a tech standpoint, we likely would implement the link approach first and then maybe email later. (The link could still be shared easily through email with the typical share function within phones.)
Quizzizz - Has a code option as well. Might be a backstop option if there are tech issues implementing the link sharing.
DataCamp - could be a good example for inspiration for showing collective group impact. We can make it prettier though I am sure. :-)
Insight Timer - Good examples of having groups themed around different things --> Vegan, Zero Waste, etc. Maybe more relevant for public groups when we get there? (Quizizz has good examples of this also.)
Insight Timer - Interesting UI tabbed way to show different aspects of the group.
General comment - from other climate app friends, showing personal emissions likely something many not comfortable with. Perhaps we only focus on Earth points to give a sense of progress? Maybe also total actions completed? Total emissions saved as a group (but not individuals)? Maybe something else?
Leaderboard - good to do on some level likely, but finding the balance between collaboration and competition is key. I'm not sure exactly how to do that. :-)
Reminders - There are in the Earth Hero app now for individual actions once someone marks them as a goal (in progress). Could be the potential for Group related ones.
Privacy - Would someone simply not join the group in the first place if they don't want to share? Maybe it can be managed by not getting too personal with what exactly is shared by default.
