Geometry (H2) All About Angles
Let’s Go [button] | | | Video | 3 | Video Intro (for all angles) | Video Screens:
Let’s watch this quick video to see angles in action. (outside of the video)
Bendy’s dialogue in the video:
In this video, I’m going to show you what an angle is and what it looks like.
See this straight straw? Let’s bend it into an angle.
Ta-da! When we bend the straw, we get a corner. This corner is called an angle.
Angles are made when two lines meet. They can be big and small.
The wider we open the straw, the bigger the angle becomes.
Let’s Start → [button] | The video texts are only a rough representation of what type of content the video can have. | | Recognize | 4 | 3 Angles | Let’s start recognizing angles together! (H2)
Bendy dialogue:
First, we will get to know the Right Angle!
Right Angle A right angle looks like the corner of a book or a door — nice and square, just right!
Acute Angle An acute angle has a sharp, pointy corner — like the tip of a pizza slice.
Obtuse Angle An obtuse angle has a big, wide corner — like scissors opened wide.
Let’s Go → [button] | Students must start with the right angle, meaning this page doesn’t allow them to select any angle.
First, we were thinking of writing Units on top of each angle, but I think it’s a school word so instead we can simply put numbers next to each angle to show what order they are in.
ℹ But I’m afraid with our current design, students might want to click the cards, expecting to be able to select which angle to start with. | | Learn | 5 | 1st page: Right Angle | What is a right angle? (H2)
Look at my arms. They make a perfect corner — like the corner of a book or a square!
This corner is called a Right Angle.
Next → [button] | | | Learn | 6 | 2nd page: Right Angle | Your turn to try! (H2)
Raise one arm up to the ceiling. Great! Now raise your other arm to the side.
That’s a right angle! Great job!
Next → [button] | even though we are still in the concept modeling stages, incorporating a small “learning by trying” can be a good way of keeping student’s interest. | | Learn | 7 | 3rd page: Right Angle | Look for angles in the world around you.
You can find right angles everywhere—door corners, book edges, and window frames. See if you can spot one nearby!
Next → [button] | | | Learn | 8 | 4th page: Right Angle | Your turn to try!(H2)
Find and trace a right angle with your finger.
Next → [button]
Success: Nice job! You traced it correctly.
Error:
Almost there! Let’s try again. | |
| Learn | 9 | 5th page: Right Angle | Right angles are all around us.
See how these shapes have square corners. Just like the right angles in the window, door, and sail!

Let’s take a quick break. Pick a way to relax your mind.
Move ‘n’ Groove (H3) Listen to music and dance or stretch.
Creation Station (H3) Grab your art materials and let’s get creating.
Quiet Time (H3) Listen to calm music or close your eyes for quiet rest.

Let’s Go → [button] | | | Practice | 13 | 2nd page: Practice | 1. Tap the picture that has a right angle
Hint: A right angle has perfectly square corners, like the big letter L.
Success message: Nice job! You found the right angle.
Error message: Almost! Let’s try again. Remember, right angles look like an L.

(Show 3 images of angles: acute, right, obtuse) | ℹ I think after the second wrong answer, we can allow the student to move to the next exercise by turning Next into
Skip and come back later [button] | | Practice | 14 | 3rd page: Practice | 2. Find and circle three right angles in the picture
Hint: Look for square corners that look like the letter L.
Success: Great job! You found all three right angles!
Error: You’re so close. Try looking for square corners.
(Image of a room, a playground, or a desk with 5–6 visible corners) | ℹ Success message appears once the student selects the 3rd correct answer.
In case they select a wrong third angle, the correctly selected ones remain selected and the error message appears.
The wrongly selected angle should also be highlighted visually, maybe in reddish color.
ℹ we can allow moving on after the second wrong answer > Skip and come back later [button] | | Practice | 15 | 4th page: Practice | 3. Tap the shape that has right angles in every corner
Hint: Look for a shape that has L-shaped corners.
Success: Good job! A square’s four corners are all right angles.
Error: Almost. Remember, right angles are perfect squares in the shape of an L.
| ℹ after the second wrong answer, we can allow the student to move to the next exercise by turning Next into
