The Product Team explored the space of using asynchronous video in the hiring process. Our client, UX Cabin, had a focus on improving efficiency in hiring UX professionals by using asynchronous (or recorded, one-way) videos to cover basic interview questions, gain a sense of the candidate’s soft skills, and to remove the scheduling obstacles inherent in live interviewing. <aside> 1️⃣ Red Ocean market: Competitors already have a product with advantage within the video interview space

<aside> 2️⃣ A majority of competitors ONLY FOCUS on Hiring Manager needs, and less on Candidate needs

<aside> 3️⃣ Candidates have more negative experiences with AVI or Video interview process, which calls for more practice and support
