Overall Summary of Phase I - What we did

The Product Team explored the space of using asynchronous video in the hiring process. Our client, UX Cabin, had a focus on improving efficiency in hiring UX professionals by using asynchronous (or recorded, one-way) videos to cover basic interview questions, gain a sense of the candidate’s soft skills, and to remove the scheduling obstacles inherent in live interviewing. During the 8 weeks, the Product Strategy team performed the following:

  1. Identified the problem the client wanted (AVI interview dilemmas Candidates vs HMs)
  2. Worked with Research to perform Discovery interviews on AVI issues
  3. Analyzed Direct Competitors to identify positioning in the market
  4. Determined the feasible scope for Phase 1 delivery
  5. Developed the strategy for Async MVP and future product direction (Lean Canvas strategy)
